WHAT IS THE STEP UP SERIES?
​We are excited to be continuing the 247 Step Up Series at next year’s Tetworth Horse Trials. This series is designed to give amateur event riders the opportunity to compete alongside top-level athletes on a level playing field—while still being recognised within their own category.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Step Up Series is open to people who:

Eventing is your hobby
-
You do not earn any income from eventing (e.g. riding, competing for others, or teaching)
-
Eventing or riding is not your main source of income
-
You have never represented your country in eventing at any level
-
You must complete all three phases of the competition to qualify

PRIZES AND RECOGNITION
Each section of each class within the series will award prizes and rosettes to the top three amateur riders (1st to 3rd place).

The 247 Step Up Series ran at Tetworth Horse Trials – October 2025, and will now continue to:

Riders who compete in all three events will be in the running to win the overall 2025/2026 Step Up Series League title.
