WHAT IS EVENTING
Eventing is the ultimate equestrian challenge comprised of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. It can be likened to a triathlon, with horses and riders demonstrating a range of skills across the three disciplines. To compete successfully in Eventing, combinations must show harmony and rhythm in the Dressage, balance and precision in the Show Jumping and accuracy and bravery in the Cross Country phase. The combination with the lowest penalty score at the end of the event is the winner. As horses and riders move up the levels, the difficulty and technicality of the phases increases. It is one of the very few sports that provides a truly level playing field, allowing men and women to compete directly against each other.

EVENTING LEVELS
The Tetworth Horse Trials will begin at the grassroots level in 2026. The event will feature a range of national British Eventing classes, including BE80, BE90, BE100 and Novice including GOBE classes.

THE 'BEST SUPPORTERS LOUNGE'
During the 2025 event the BE Support Trust hosted "The BEST Supporters Lounge", a welcoming space to relax, connect and recharge during the event for riders, owners and all their connections.​ Owners can sit back in comfort and enjoy the refreshments while celebrating the best of country life, surrounded by top-class equestrian sport and entertainment.

- An exquisite selection of freshly baked cakes and snacks
