TETWORTH HALL
Tetworth hall is located near Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire. It is a red brick Country Home, built in 1710 by John Pedley, an MP for Huntingdonshire. The hall’s grounds provide a picturesque setting for equestrian events, being based on free draining sandy soil, the grounds provide the perfect going all year round. The combination of history and well-maintained landscapes offer both riders and spectators an enjoyable experience. We are excited to continue to bring Tetworth Horse Trials to such a wonderful location.
WHAT IS EVENTING
Eventing is the ultimate equestrian challenge comprised of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. It can be likened to a triathlon, with horses and riders demonstrating a range of skills across the three disciplines. To compete successfully in Eventing, combinations must show harmony and rhythm in the Dressage, balance and precision in the Show Jumping and accuracy and bravery in the Cross Country phase. The combination with the lowest penalty score at the end of the event is the winner. As horses and riders move up the levels, the difficulty and technicality of the phases increases. It is one of the very few sports that provides a truly level playing field, allowing men and women to compete directly against each other.

THE ORGANISERS
For the last 16 years, alongside the private, corporate and charity clients, we (ADDO Events) have organised a number of outdoor events, all to include equestrian elements. Having been an organiser of BE Events for the last 16 years, we look forward to this exciting chapter and bringing Tetworth Horse Trials to life.
